A Family Cycling Day at Meyersdal Nature Estate

Just Ride is a relaxed family cycling event hosted by Bike Barn, created for kids, parents and families who simply want to get outside, ride together and have a good time.
No racing pressure. No intimidating bunches. Just an easy-going day designed to help children build confidence on their bikes while parents get to enjoy the ride alongside them.
Choose Your Route
There are three route options, so families can choose what suits their child’s age, ability and confidence.
3km Balance Bikes & Training Wheels Route
A short, easy route for toddlers and younger children on balance bikes or bicycles with training wheels. Parents are welcome to ride or walk alongside them.
5km Easy Family Ride
A manageable route for younger children, beginner riders and families who want to ride together.
7km More Challenging Route
For older kids and more confident riders who are ready for a little more adventure.
Entry Fee
R50 per person
Every entrant receives a Just Ride medal and a free boerewors roll after the ride.
Family Fun After the Ride
The cycling is only part of the day.
Expect a relaxed family atmosphere with jumping castles, face painting, popcorn and additional family entertainment and activities.
Raffle
Fancy taking home a new bike too?
A raffle will be held on the day, with an Apex A900 29 inch mountain bike worth R9 000 up for grabs.
Raffle tickets are R100 each.
